Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Sonographer to join our Medical Imaging Department at Creston Valley Hospital in Creston, BC. About the Job
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization and in accordance with the standards of professional practice, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures/examinations and related duties working in collaboration with radiologists/cardiologists, physicians and other health care professionals.
This is a Relief Full Time (1.0) opportunity until the return of the incumbent.
Shifts of Work
Will be scheduled Monday to Friday day shifts with weekends and stats off.

Qualfications
Graduate of a recognized/accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography). Current certification with Sonography Canada as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Generalist and/or Cardiac) and/or current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Abdomen/Small Parts, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Cardiac, and/or Vascular) or be certified with Sonography Canada and have passed the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA).
Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.
