As a caregiver at Axis Family Resources Ltd., you'll engage in a crucial role that focuses on nurturing relationships through a trauma-informed lens. You will assist individuals to reach their everyday life skills goals, enhancing their educational and social experiences. Ideal candidates will share qualities such as empathy, resilience, and effective boundary-setting, fostering trust and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities

• Create a positive living atmosphere

• Encourage participation in social and recreational programs

• Document and report on resident progress

• Engage in ongoing training and development provided

Requirements:

• Certification in Community Services or related area

• 1–2 years experience in social services

• Experience with behavioral challenges an asset

• Reliable transport and a BC driver’s licence

• Conducted Criminal Record Check is mandatory
