Community Health Worker in Lillooet

Location: Cariboo and West Okanagan (100 Mile House)

Become a vital part of the Home Support Team at Interior Health in Lillooet, BC, as a Community Health Worker. Deliver patient-centered personal care and support daily living for community clients every shift.

This permanent part-time position involves working closely with Nurses and LPNs to assist clients in maintaining independence  will provide essential services such as personal care, meal preparation, and household duties while promoting a safe environment. Your observations of changes in client behavior will be crucial in delivering the best care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily personal care

• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment

• Prepare meals according to designated plans

• Aid mobility and transfers for clients

• Observe and report changes in client conditions

Requirements:

• Experience in home support or community health

• Reliable and motivated team player

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts

• Familiarity with personal care tasks
