Patient Care Receptionist & Assistant

Location: Central Newfoundland (Bishops Falls)

Join our team as a Patient Care Receptionist and Assistant, focusing on delivering outstanding service and patient support. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, emphasizing efficiency and detail in your work.

In this position, you will interact with patients daily, greeting them professionally while managing their records and appointments. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and possess excellent customer service skills. Training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for those new to the optical or healthcare fields. Responsibilities also include managing billing and carrying out essential administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk

• Accurately enter and maintain patient data

• Perform patient pre-testing with training

• Schedule appointments and confirm them efficiently

• Process billing and insurance matters

Requirements:

• Strong customer service and phone communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks methodically

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environment

• Full-time availability Monday through Friday is essential

• Experience in healthcare or optical is advantageous but not mandatory
