Recovery-Oriented Chaplain Services

Location: South Leeds and Grenville United Counties (Prescott)

Serve as a Chaplain at the Royal, focusing on recovery-oriented spiritual health services for clients. Lead cultural advocacy and provide vital support for families and staff alike.

This position emphasizes the integration of spiritual and cultural education within mental health care. You’ll coordinate educational initiatives, recruit volunteers, lead spiritual groups, and contribute to staff training on cultural competence. Your compassionate approach will foster an environment conducive to healing and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate recovery-oriented spiritual health services

• Conduct training for staff on cultural and spiritual care

• Lead bereavement support and crisis intervention groups

• Develop engaging educational seminars

• Participate in program evaluations and staff committees

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in divinity or spiritual care

• Recognized training in spiritual practices for mental health

• Experience with loss support and crisis management

• Strong advocacy and communication skills

• Knowledge of relevant ethical and legislative principles
