Position: Casual Therapeutic Assistant Role
Location: Hants County (Shubenacadie)

This full-time, casual position focuses on assisting in therapeutic activities for patients under the supervision of a Recreation Therapist. Collaborate with an inter-disciplinary team and play a crucial role in enhancing patient care through effective communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver health and therapeutic services under supervision

• Collaborate on individualized care plans with the team

• Share patient-specific information to ensure cohesive care

• Facilitate therapeutic and recreational activities for patients

• Assist patients in pursuing their health and wellness objectives

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 and Therapeutic Recreation first year

• Valid CPR certification necessary

• First Aid certification is preferred

• Experience with NVCI is a plus

• High-level interpersonal skills and community resource knowledge
