Manager of Overdose Prevention Services White Rock

Location: Surrey East

Lead harm reduction initiatives with SOURCES as a Temporary Manager of Overdose Prevention and Peer Support Services in White Rock. This role requires strong leadership skills paired with harm reduction knowledge to support vulnerable populations.

As a Temporary Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Overdose Prevention Services and Peer Support Network. Your background in social services, coupled with effective communication and problem-solving skills, prepares you to improve community wellness significantly. Responsibilities include hiring staff, coordinating with Fraser Health, and supporting outreach efforts to engage individuals who use substances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of overdose prevention services

• Develop harm reduction supports and services

• Liaise with Fraser Health for service coordination

• Recruit and support Peer Support team members

• Organize distribution of essential supplies to vulnerable individuals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in social/human sciences

• Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills

• Familiarity with social justice and public health practices

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

• Criminal Records check required
