Position: Health Care Aide: Support & Care Role
Location: South Central Manitoba (Altona)

Support patients as a Health Care Aide, fostering their independence through daily living assistance. This role focuses on delivering quality care while adhering to established health standards.

Working under the direction of nursing staff, this Health Care Aide position involves providing necessary support to residents in their daily activities. You will be instrumental in adhering to care plans while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Successful applicants will need to possess a Health Care Aide Certificate and a current BLS certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personal support for daily living activities

• Utilize initiative in organizing and prioritizing care

• Ensure compliance with PHIA and FIPPA standards

• Maintain communication with the healthcare team

• Travel to various facilities as needed

Requirements:

• 1-2 years' experience in a healthcare setting preferred

• Valid Health Care Aide Certificate

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Class 5 driver’s license required

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse individuals
