Position: Volunteer Firefighter for Community Service
Location: Perth (Mitchell)

Join the Perth East Fire Department as a Volunteer Firefighter, making a difference in Sebringville or Shakespeare.

Your role involves critical rescue operations and providing first aid during emergencies.

The Township of Perth East is looking for passionate individuals ready to take on the responsibilities of a Volunteer Firefighter. You'll work closely with a Captain and other officers, participating in hands-on firefighting and emergency response activities. An excellent physical condition and a commitment to community safety are essential, along with a 'G' license and willingness to obtain additional certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Combat fires and ensure public safety

• Execute rescue operations effectively

• Administer first aid as needed

• Maintain firefighting equipment and facilities

• Participate in ongoing training sessions

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old

• Successful completion of a medical and background check

• Minimum 'G' driver's license, with D.Z. license within a year

• Willingness to be on-call and carry a pager

• Preferred First Aid / CPR certification
