Position: Endo Aide for PRHC Reprocessing Department
Location: Renfrew County and Lanark Highlands Township (Deep River)

Enhance your career at Peterborough Regional Health Centre as an Endo Aide in their Medical Device Reprocessing team. This part-time position focuses on cleaning and preparing essential equipment for patient procedures.

Your main responsibilities will involve cleaning and high-level disinfecting endoscope equipment, along with managing supply orders and room setups. This position requires a Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate and a strong commitment to quality and safety in healthcare. You'll collaborate closely with staff and need excellent organizational skills to meet demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and HLD on endoscopy instruments

• Order and maintain adequate supply levels

• Set up procedure rooms for endoscopic procedures

• Efficiently handle multiple tasks when required

• Communicate with team members and physicians effectively

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent necessary

• MDARO certification required for application

• Must have recertification within two years

• Experience in scope cleaning is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to work independently
