This full-time, hourly position focuses on assisting Recreation Therapists and Registered Nurses in creating individualized care plans for patients in Central Zone. You'll communicate vital information to improve the understanding of treatment teams while fostering a supportive and engaging therapeutic environment. Strong leadership skills are crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate therapeutic activities in collaboration with the team

• Share patient-specific updates with healthcare professionals

• Contribute to implementing patient care strategies

• Support health promotion activities for individuals

• Ensure a compassionate and constructive atmosphere for patients

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and completion of first year in Therapeutic Recreation program

• Current CPR certification is required

• First Aid Certification and NVCI training preferred

• Solid interpersonal and leadership abilities

• Additional language skills, including French, are advantageous
