Position: Winkler Healthy Living Facilitator Role
Location: South Central Manitoba (Altona)

Contribute to health and wellness in Winkler as a Healthy Living Facilitator with Southern Health-Santé Sud. Focus on population health promotion and community engagement for better health outcomes.

As a part of the Public Health-Healthy Living team, you will assess community health needs and work closely with various stakeholders to create effective health initiatives. Utilize your expertise in health promotion and program development to lead efforts that enhance public policy and health equity. Engage with populations from diverse cultural backgrounds to promote inclusive health solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize community health needs

• Develop and implement health promotion strategies

• Lead the evaluation of health initiatives and policies

• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders

• Promote community involvement and health equity

Requirements:

• At least two years of relevant experience

• Degree in a health-related discipline

• Experience with diverse populations is beneficial

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Valid driver’s license and liability insurance
