Skilled Radiological Technologist in Diagnostic Imaging and Safety

Location: Victoria

As a Radiological Technologist, prioritize patient safety while producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs in a computerized environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective diagnostic procedures and radiation safety measures.

In this role, you'll work independently or alongside a radiologist to perform diagnostic imaging tasks and maintain documentation. Your responsibilities will also include applying safety principles to protect patients and staff while enhancing quality through team collaboration. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce diagnostic radiographs accurately

• Collaborate with radiologists for procedures

• Apply radiation safety principles in practice

• Document administrative tasks effectively

• Maintain equipment and a computer proficiency

Requirements:

• Certification from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists

• Graduation from an approved radiology program

• Eligible for CAMRT membership

• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team

• Physical capability to perform job requirements
