Elevate your career as an Advanced Imaging Authorization Specialist with a flexible hybrid work model in Raleigh. Ensure seamless insurance authorization and improve patient experiences.
This full-time position seeks an experienced specialist to facilitate timely insurance authorizations for MRI and diagnostic imaging. The hybrid role includes three days in our Raleigh office and two remote workdays, with a rotating schedule established by management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Validate insurance pre-certifications for diagnostic tests
• Enter and manage authorization data within EMR systems
• Liaise with patients regarding authorization status
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage details
• Schedule and coordinate necessary diagnostic imaging
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance or prior authorizations
• Orthopaedic experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding is desirable
• Proficient in computer and data entry tasks
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize effectively
