Part-Time Falls Prevention Coordinator

Enhance community health as a part-time Falls Prevention Coordinator at ONE CARE in Clinton, Ontario. Lead impactful wellness programs focused on falls prevention for older adults.

ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services seeks a knowledgeable Falls Prevention Coordinator for a 12-month contract, working 22.5 hours per week. You will develop programs and train instructors to effectively implement falls prevention strategies in various settings. Your leadership in exercise techniques will directly benefit older adults throughout Huron and Perth Counties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement falls prevention programs in the community

• Train instructors in proper exercise techniques and procedures

• Lead wellness and education sessions for older adults

• Ensure adherence to best practices in falls prevention

• Collaborate with community partners and retirement homes

Requirements:

• University degree in Kinesiology, Occupational Therapy, or Physiotherapy

• Current registration with the provincial association

• Minimum 1 year experience with older adult programs

• CPR and First Aid certification required

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
