Location: South Central Manitoba (Altona)

Join the Public Health-Healthy Living team as a Healthy Living Facilitator focused on population health promotion. Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to enhance community health initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager of Health Services, this full-time role requires a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles within the community. As a Healthy Living Facilitator, you will implement strategies focused on health improvement and wellness through educational programs and support. Engage with the population to drive health-related objectives and foster community connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health promotion initiatives

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to strategize

• Conduct community outreach and educational activities

• Facilitate workshops and information sessions

• Evaluate the effectiveness of health programs

Requirements:

• Background in health promotion or related field

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience in community engagement and outreach

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Knowledge of public health principles
