Take a pivotal role in mental health within Central Communities as a Mental Wellness Counsellor at HART Hub. This full-time contract position supports Aboriginal clients, focusing on culturally sensitive outreach services.

HART Hub seeks a dedicated Mental Wellness Counsellor to enhance mental health among Indigenous individuals aged 18 and older. The role emphasizes integrating traditional and contemporary wellness practices while collaborating with various health service partners. With a focus on outreach, you will provide essential assessments and counselling to ensure holistic support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate outreach assessments and provide supportive counselling

• Collaborate with local health workers and organizations

• Uphold quality assurance through policies and procedures

• Integrate traditional healing practices into counselling sessions

• Maintain detailed records in electronic case management systems

Requirements:

• Completed B.S.W. or M.S.W. with 2+ years of experience

• Strong understanding of First Nation culture and mental health

• Proven clinical counseling skills

• Ability to work with diverse health professionals

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
