Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a casual Activity/Recreation Worker at Boyne Lodge Personal Care Home. In this role, you'll employ initiative and independent judgment to promote quality of life in health care settings. A minimum of two years’ relevant experience with older adults and a recognized certificate in Therapeutic Recreation or Activity Programming are essential for success in this position.

• Promote quality of life through engaging activities

• Exercise independent judgment in work priorities

• Collaborate effectively with patients and staff

• Adapt activities to meet clients’ diverse needs

• Ensure adherence to organizational policies

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of relevant experience preferred

• Grade 12 education required, plus relevant qualifications

• Ability to respect and promote cultural diversity

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

• Maintain confidentiality in all communications
