Infant Mental Health Team Lead

• Masters Degree in a health related discipline from an approved post-secondary institution; and
• Three (3) years' recent related experience in a pediatric mental health setting or related field with strong working knowledge of family dynamics, child-caregiver relationships, infant mental health and family systems work; and
• Experience with project management and program development and evaluation; experience engaging and working with community partners; and
• Eligibility for registration with appropriate regulatory body; and
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the current theories, literature, technologies, and best practices in Infant Mental Health.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Community Development.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of child/adult education principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to organize workload and set priorities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to apply the principles of adult learning in individual and group settings.
• Ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts including co-workers, physicians, community agencies, representatives, patients/clients/residents and families.
