Primary Care Paramedic

Position: Primary Care Paramedic in Thunder Bay
Location: Lake Superior North Shore (Marathon)

Elevate your emergency medical skills as a Primary Care Paramedic in Thunder Bay. In this crucial role, you'll respond to ambulance calls while delivering patient care and ensuring safety.

Under the supervision of the Superintendent – EMS Operations, you'll conduct thorough patient assessments and administer care adhering to established medical standards. This position demands teamwork, meticulous documentation, and compliance with safety regulations, following the Ontario Ambulance Documentation Standards. Your efforts contribute directly to the health and safety of the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency calls promptly and report movements

• Assess environmental and patient safety needs

• Conduct patient triage assessments and evaluations

• Provide care per Basic and Advanced Life Support standards

• Maintain and restock equipment and supplies

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Class 'F' driver's licence

• Must meet primary care paramedic qualifications

• 1-2 years experience as a primary care paramedic preferred

• Competent driver as defined by the Corporation

• Successful completion of mandatory training
