Position: Niagara Region Behaviour Consultant Role
Location: Vineland

Take on a pivotal role as a Full Time Behaviour Consultant at Bethesda Community Services, dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in the Niagara Region. Collaborate closely with caregivers and clinical teams to implement effective behavioral strategies.

Bethesda Community Services is committed to empowering individuals and fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity. In this role, you will develop and monitor Behaviour Support Plans, conduct data collection, and provide essential training to support staff and caregivers. Your expertise will help bridge gaps between community partners and ensure quality care is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans effectively

• Create data collection systems to monitor client progress

• Facilitate groups that build essential skills for clients

• Attend and present at community behavioral committee meetings

• Oversee the application of behavioural strategies through training

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Psychology or equivalent experience preferred

• 3-5 years working with behavioral challenges

• Registered Behaviour Analyst certification preferred

• Valid driver’s license required

• Membership with the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis required
