Position: Senior Health and Safety Advisor Role

Join as a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to drive safety excellence in a long-term contract role based in Sherwood Park. Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance and enhance operational safety.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Safety & Emergency Management, this key position emphasizes mentoring staff and fostering safe work environments within transport and facility operations. You will develop safety programs, conduct incident reviews, and lead improvement initiatives to meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor personnel on compliance and safety practices

• Develop and support health and safety program improvements

• Assist in creating safety plans and budget assessments

• Lead incident investigations as necessary

• Facilitate inspections and attend safety meetings

Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience in Health & Safety

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field

• Professional safety designation progress essential

• Excellent independent and communication skills

• Must clear pre-employment safety assessments
