As a vital member of the Health Information Management team, you will report to the Supervisor, performing key tasks such as verifying patient demographics and health insurance, creating Unique Lifetime Identifiers, and responding to inquiries.

Your role involves greeting clients and staff, ensuring that a welcoming atmosphere prevails, while managing operational tasks necessary for efficient health center functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Register clients and verify health care insurance details

• Coordinate inpatient bed assignments effectively

• Respond to telephone queries per guidelines

• Maintain a positive public image and client relations

• Ensure the work area is stocked with necessary supplies

Requirements:

• Grade 12 completion or equivalent

• 2 years of reception experience in a healthcare setting

• Medical Terminology course completion

• Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm

• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
