Part-Time Recreation Therapy Worker & Bus Driver

Join Swan Valley Lodge in Creston, BC, as a part-time Recreation Therapy Worker and Bus Driver, enhancing residents' lives through engaging programs. Help deliver a variety of recreational activities both inside and outside the facility.

As a key member of our Recreation Services Team, you'll implement diverse therapy programs that include exercising, gardening, and arts. Your responsibilities will involve setting up events, assisting residents, and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure everyone is well-prepared for outings. This role aims to foster a supportive community atmosphere for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate individual and group recreation therapy sessions

• Set up equipment for various therapy activities

• Help residents engage participate during programs

• Oversee transportation for outings with appropriate preparations

• Report any relevant concerns to the supervisor

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 education

• Two years of related experience or formal training

• Valid class 4 vehicle driver's license required

• Strong organization skills and teamwork

• Commitment to enhancing resident experiences
