Position: Dynamic Rehabilitation Assistant Position
Location: Kamloops North

Join Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody as a dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant. Contribute to improving patient lives through rehabilitative support under the guidance of healthcare professionals.

In this casual role, you'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team, implementing care plans designed by Occupational and Physiotherapists. Your support will be critical in promoting patient mobility and recovery-focused activities. Engage with patients and their families to foster independence and improved quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute rehabilitative treatment tasks assigned by PT or OT

• Monitor cognitive and functional changes in patients

• Conduct and record rehabilitation assessments

• Provide functional training and assistance with mobility devices

• Maintain and manage therapy equipment effectively

Requirements:

• Training in Rehabilitation Assistant Program or similar experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical capability to execute responsibilities

• Proficient in operating relevant therapeutic equipment

• Ability to organize tasks efficiently
