Part Time Lab Technician in Patient Care

Location: Frontenac County, Addington County, Loyalist Shores and Southwest Leeds (Inverary)

Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients, ensuring they understand the specimen process, and performing necessary lab tasks such as phlebotomy and ECG tracings. This position requires excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient interactions, along with efficient data entry capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and guide them through the test process

• Conduct phlebotomies and ECG procedures

• Undertake special test collections and complete documentation

• Foster client relationships and address inquiries

• Prepare specimens accurately for transportation and analysis

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Laboratory Assistant program

• Experience in phlebotomy and ECG preferred

• Strong communication and computer skills

• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills

• Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy standards
