Community-Focused Pharmacist at Loblaw

Location: Central Yukon (Dawson City)

Drive positive health outcomes as a Pharmacist at Loblaw Pharmacy, where timely prescription dispensing meets proactive patient interaction.

Your role is pivotal in enhancing the safety and satisfaction of our patients.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacy Manager, you'll prepare and control medications accurately, educate patients about their prescriptions, and manage inventory to meet patient needs. Your excellent leadership skills will also play a crucial role in training pharmacy colleagues and launching community health campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and over-the-counter supplements

• Ensure sufficient inventory to meet patient needs

• Provide medication counseling with a friendly demeanor

• Engage in public relations to enhance community health awareness

• Train new and existing pharmacy staff effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and valid Class A license

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

• Leadership and performance management expertise

• Strong problem-solving capabilities

• Experience with pharmacy software systems is a plus
