Occupational Therapist in Rehabilitation Services

Location: Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

Become an Occupational Therapist with Bayshore Healthcare, providing essential assessments and therapies for patients in a rehabilitation context. This role emphasizes personalized treatment and collaboration.

Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation, you will apply your Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy to design and implement treatment programs. Prompt evaluation and adjustment of these programs will ensure optimal client outcomes. You will document treatment progress diligently, while guiding your team members to support therapy objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate clients and set measurable treatment goals

• Monitor and modify treatment programs as necessary

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation standards

• Educate clients and caregivers on therapy techniques

• Observe and mentor those assisting with therapy tasks

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy

• Registered and in good standing with the provincial college

• Experience with home treatment and assessments

• Committed to continuous professional development

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
