Covenant Care seeks a Recreation Assistant who embodies compassion and collaboration. This role involves planning and evaluating recreational programs that address various needs of residents, from social to cultural. You will partner with the healthcare team to ensure participants are fully engaged in activities that support their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement leisure programs that meet resident needs

• Support and promote resident participation in activities

• Collaborate with healthcare team on innovative programming

• Model Covenant Care's mission and values in interactions

• Evaluate program effectiveness and resident engagement

Requirements:

• Therapeutic Recreation Diploma or Degree required

• Valid Class 4 driver's license or willingness to obtain

• Two years of experience in therapeutic recreation preferred

• Current First Aid and CPR certification necessary

• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships
