Primary Care Paramedic

Position: Full Time Primary Care Paramedic Roles
Location: North Interlake (Stonewall)

Enhance community health with Shared Health as a Primary Care Paramedic. Deliver emergency medical care in-person at Gypsumville Primary Health Care Clinic, Manitoba.

This role requires a combination of training and experience in pre-hospital care as an Emergency Medical Responder or Primary Care Paramedic. Candidates should be competent in Indigenous languages and customs, possess customer service experience, and be familiar with Shared Health technology. The position offers a structured schedule of 12-hour shifts that balance day and night work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-hospital emergency care as per protocols

• Engage with diverse communities to support health needs

• Utilize Shared Health ERS technology for patient care

• Conduct assessments to ensure patient safety and well-being

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Primary Care Paramedic program

• Certificate of Practice with College of Paramedics of Manitoba

• Valid Class IV Manitoba driver’s license

• Basic Life Support certification at level C

• Physical Fitness Assessment required
