Registered Clinician for Children in Timmins

Location: Timiskaming North (Iroquois Falls A)

Provide essential mental health services as a Registered Clinician at North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services in Timmins. This full-time role focuses on therapy and clinical assessments for children and families.

As a key member of the Child and Youth Mental Health team, you will deliver psychotherapy, counseling, and support to children and adolescents up to 18 years old. You will want relevant clinical skills to effectively meet social, emotional, and behavioral needs, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychotherapy and single-session counseling services

• Conduct clinical assessments on youth and family support systems

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals on treatment plans

• Develop innovative approaches to mental health care

• Maintain good standing with relevant professional colleges

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology preferred

• Registered with a relevant Ontario professional college

• Bilingualism in English and French required

• Minimum G2 driver’s license with willingness to upgrade

• Strong communication and organizational skills
