Support seniors during night hours with Qualicare Home Care in South Island. This part-time role provides essential companionship and safety supervision to clients in a calming home environment.

Qualicare Home Care is seeking an Overnight Caregiver to deliver personalized care while ensuring the safety and well-being of a senior client. This position involves working under the guidance of the Care Coordinator and Nursing Team, focusing on gradual, overnight shifts. You will be responsible for monitoring client conditions, providing companionship, and managing light housekeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure overnight supervision and client safety

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Monitor and report changes in client condition

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks

• Prepare light snacks and beverages as needed

Requirements:

• Registered Care Aide, Health Care Assistant, or equivalent

• Experience with seniors, especially dementia care, preferred

• Calm, compassionate, and patient demeanor

• Strong communication and observation skills

• Must obtain a Criminal Record Check
