Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist

Position: Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist Role
Location: Whitby Region (Gormley)

Become part of a dedicated team as a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist at Sunshine Learning Centre. If you have a passion for helping children with communication challenges, this role is for you.

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with at least one year of experience with children and individuals with autism. You will need a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and active registration with CASPLO and the Ontario Autism Providers List. Join us to teach language skills and utilize a range of therapeutic techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team to implement evidence-based methods

• Conduct assessments of speech and language fluency

• Supervise Communication Disorders Assistant's tasks

• Educate families on speech therapy strategies

• Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with autism treatment

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology

• Active registration with CASPLO and OAP List

• Experience in augmentative communication techniques

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
