Advanced Care Paramedic Position in Alberta

Location: Central Alberta (Stettler)

Medavie Health Services West is hiring an Advanced Care Paramedic in Central Alberta. This role focuses on emergency response, patient transportation, and leadership in pre-hospital care.

As a temporary Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) with Medavie Health Services West, you will provide life-saving care in communities like Innisfail, Ponoka, and Wetaskiwin. Your expertise will ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to safety standards and regulatory guidelines. The ACP role demands professionalism, strong communication skills, and teamwork, particularly with Primary Care Paramedics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate treatment and transport for patients

• Safely operate vehicles per health and safety guidelines

• Document patient care and maintain confidentiality

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training

• Engage in public awareness and community education initiatives

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

• Alberta Operators License class 1, 2, or 4

• Current registration with Alberta College of Paramedics

• CPR certification and FARE Certificate required

• Physically fit with no impairments to duties
