As a vital part of the Emergency Health Services (EHS) team, your role as an Emergency Medical Responder will involve assessing emergency scenes and transporting patients. You will operate vehicles under various conditions, providing crucial treatments and documentation. Being prepared for demanding environments and physical challenges is essential to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess emergency scenes and patient needs efficiently

• Transport ill or injured patients to necessary facilities

• Operate ambulances and provide basic treatments

• Maintain vehicles and ensure proper stocking

• Document patient care reports accurately

Requirements:

• Registration with Alberta College of Paramedics as EMR

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence

• Completion of F.A.R.E. test within last six months

• Meet all physical and operational role requirements
