As an EMR, you'll play a key role in assessing emergency situations and transporting patients. This includes operating emergency vehicles and providing critical care as needed. Your work will require you to cope with various conditions and travel extensively to different locations, making every day unique in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate emergencies and transport patients efficiently

• Operate ambulances and implement basic treatments

• Document all patient interactions and care provided

• Keep transport vehicles stocked as per regulations

• Meet physical demands, including lifting and carrying up to 105 lbs

Requirements:

• Non-restricted registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics

• Hold current BCLS CPR certification

• Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence or similar

• Must complete the F.A.R.E. test for new applicants

• Preference for candidates with EMS experience
