Interior Health is expanding its Long-term Care team and is searching for a dedicated Care Aide at Swan Valley Lodge. This role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the holistic well-being of residents. You will be instrumental in assisting with personal care activities and promoting patient independence through tailored support, all while following the guidance of RNs and LPNs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support personal care and daily living activities for patients

• Assist in the safety of mobility and transfers

• Conduct basic nursing assessments and report findings

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the living environment

• Participate in social and recreational activities with clients

Requirements:

• Experience in long-term care is highly valued

• Ability to adapt to flexible shift schedules

• Strong observational and reporting skills required
