Patient Care Assistant in Radiology

As a Patient Care Assistant, you will support radiologic technologists in various imaging modalities. This role includes coordinating patient flow, transporting patients, and ensuring effective communication with families and providers. You’ll assist with room setups and contribute to the radiology team's overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work assignments to facilitate patient flow

• Transport patients safely to and from exam areas

• Communicate effectively with patients and care teams

• Assist with room setup and cleaning tasks

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the tech

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• CPR certification required upon hire

• Health-related education or certification preferred

• Commitment to patient comfort and safety

• Willingness to work in various imaging modalities

Support the radiology team and provide exceptional patient care during imaging procedures.
