As a Surgical Clinical Reviewer within the Division of Surgery and Surgical Oncology, you will abstract clinical data to align with NSQIP and VQI guidelines.

Your role involves internal data audits and reviewing case notes, which is crucial for enhancing surgical services. Additionally, you will co-lead clinical quality improvement initiatives with clinicians, helping to establish benchmarks and improve care quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Abstract clinical data per NSQIP and VQI guidelines

• Conduct internal audits of data abstraction processes

• Review surgical case notes to ensure accuracy

• Collaborate with clinicians on quality benchmarks

• Co-lead clinical improvement projects for surgical services

Requirements:

• Degree in Nursing, Biomedical, or Biological Science

• Preferred healthcare work experience in clinical settings

• Background in data analytics or clinical audit is an advantage

• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
