Location: Peace River

Become a Health Care Aide at Points West Living in Peace River, Alberta. This role focuses on enriching residents' lives through the innovative Eden Alternative™ approach, enhancing community connectedness.

In this critical position, you will collaborate with residents and their families to promote a strong sense of belonging.

Your role includes monitoring health, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring compliance with care standards. You will engage with the care partnership to strengthen resident relationships and foster a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain thorough documentation of resident care

• Assist in medication administration as per guidelines

• Identify and report health or safety concerns immediately

• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families

• Support residents in participating in community activities

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent

• Completion of a certified Health Care Aide program

• CPR/Basic Life Support certification currently preferred

• Valid Criminal Record Check requirement

• Must be fluent in English for communication
