Radiological Technologist Role in Whistler, BC

Location: East Kootenays (Fernie)

As a vital member of the General Radiology team, you'll perform radiographic examinations, ensuring compliance with safety and clinical standards. This role requires proficient use of imaging technologies while actively participating in maintaining a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent and collaborative imaging procedures

• Ensure adherence to established safety protocols in radiology

• Document exams and maintain patient monitoring during procedures

• Participate in research projects and committee engagements

• Uphold a culture of excellence in patient care and safety

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Radiography program

• Valid CAMRT certification or equivalent qualifications

• Familiarity with PACS and Radiology Information Systems

• Strong understanding of patient and family-centered care

• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations
