Join Dynacare as a Laboratory Assistant (Float), where you'll obtain blood samples and support patient testing in areas like Mississauga and Milton. This permanent, part-time role guarantees 24 hours weekly, with varied day shifts to accommodate your schedule. You will work within a team to enhance quality metrics and cultivate a positive environment for patients during their experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens using effective venipuncture techniques

• Perform ECGs, Holter Hookups, and other patient tests

• Record data for accurate patient requisitions

• Sort specimens for transport according to guidelines

• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with quality measures

Requirements:

• Secondary School completion with Lab Assistant training

• Genuine care for patients’ health needs

• Experienced in phlebotomy with composure under pressure

• Strong attention to detail in all tasks

• MLPAO/CSMLS Certification is a strong asset
