Duties Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, home care, assisted living, and nursing homes.
Administer medications accurately following established protocols and medical orders.
Monitor patient vital signs, assess symptoms, and document observations thoroughly in electronic health records using systems like Epic and Cerner.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet individual needs.
Perform specialized procedures such as phlebotomy, pain management interventions, and dementia or senior care strategies.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, medication usage, and post-discharge care instructions.
Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards, laboratory procedures, and safety regulations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Skills Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
Extensive hospital experience with acute care environments.
Strong background in pain management, case management, and pediatrics.
Experience working with children, seniors, dementia patients, or in assisted living facilities.
Skilled in medication administration, phlebotomy, and laboratory procedures.
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office operations.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients.
Ability to adapt quickly to diverse clinical situations while maintaining a positive attitude.
