Location: Inside Passage and the Queen Charlottes (Queen Charlotte City)

Join the dedicated team at Vancouver Coastal Health as a Patient Care Aide in Heiltsuk Hospital, Bella Bella, BC. This role plays a crucial part in delivering quality care in an acute and residential healthcare environment.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will focus on providing compassionate care to patients with tasks such as personal hygiene assistance, feeding, and clerical duties.

Your role is integral in supporting the medical team and ensuring optimal patient care and hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with feeding and hygiene services

• Transport patients to necessary locations efficiently

• Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation

• Prepare and sterilize medical instruments

• Ensure timely stock of medical supplies in wards

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant program

• Solid communication skills for effective patient interaction

• Physical capability to assist patients as needed

• Current CPR (Level

C) certification

• Strong organizational skills in managing tasks
