Support Care Partners as a Support Group Facilitator in Peace River and Valleyview, Alberta. Use your skills to create a supportive environment for individuals dealing with dementia experiences.

In this ongoing volunteer position, you will help create a space for care partners to come together, share their challenges, and learn from each other’s experiences. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will facilitate discussions that help participants feel comfortable and supported. Flexibility in scheduling will accommodate the needs of the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up confidential and constructive group settings

• Welcome participants and clarify group procedures

• Use icebreaker topics to promote sharing
