As a vital Patient Care Assistant, your responsibilities include assisting in all aspects of patient care, ensuring communication flows seamlessly throughout the unit. You will collaborate with nursing staff, providing vital support while engaging directly with patients for their comfort and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of complete nursing care

• Support nursing staff with clerical tasks

• Maintain effective communication within the unit

• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions

• Help create a welcoming patient environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Six months to one year office experience preferred

• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months

• Knowledge of medical terminology is necessary

• Background in Certified Nurse Aide or EMT is a plus
