Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service, providing Advanced Life Support, initial assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons in accordance with Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Emergency Health Services Basic and Advance Life Support Protocols, and organization policies and procedures. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

• Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)

• International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
• Valid Class 4 driver's license
• Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C)

• Hudson Bay is located approximately 156 km east of Melfort
• Clean Driver's Abstract
• Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level

• Employer will endeavour to ensure on-call does not exceed 300 hours in 3 weeks
• Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
