Experienced Physiotherapist – OceanView Care

Location: Eastern Passage

Pursue a fulfilling career as an Experienced Physiotherapist at Ocean View Continuing Care Centre in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia. This full-time position centers on delivering quality physiotherapy to seniors in a compassionate setting.

In your role, you will coordinate with the Director of Quality and Professional Practice, overseeing physiotherapy services tailored to individual resident needs. Effective collaboration and leadership in a multidisciplinary team are vital, as you will lead initiatives around falls management and resident mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical assessments and create personalized treatment plans

• Supervise a team of physiotherapy assistants

• Educate staff and families on mobility and safety

• Participate in multidisciplinary committees focused on care

• Support staff training for quality improvement

Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy

• Valid Nova Scotia license in good standing

• Experience in geriatrics or acute care

• Proven leadership and time management skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel
