Pharmacy Assistant

Mel's Pharmacy is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Craik, Saskatchewan.

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in delivering quality patient care
• Greet customers and answer phone calls professionally
• Assist with prescription entry, labelling, packaging, and medication preparation under supervision
• Receive and stock medications and supplies, monitor inventory, and assist with audits
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy and properly dispose of expired medications
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, insurance claims, and prescription transfers
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations as needed

• Previous retail pharmacy experience is an asset
• Experience with Kroll and prescription data entry is an asset
• Pharmacy Assistant certification/training is an asset
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift boxes
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required

• Part-time, 28 hours per week
• Store hours:
  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Shifts are typically scheduled within these hours
