Position: Physiotherapist Needed – Ocean View Care
Location: Eastern Passage

Join Ocean View Continuing Care Centre as a full-time Physiotherapist in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia. Provide essential physiotherapy services to enhance the well-being of seniors in long-term care.

In this role, you will report to the Director of Quality and Professional Practice, leading a physiotherapy team and overseeing treatment plans. Your responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare professionals, educating staff and family members, and participating actively in improving patient safety through committee leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans for residents

• Supervise and support physiotherapy assistants effectively

• Educate about falls prevention and safe handling

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment

• Participate in safety committee activities to improve care

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy

• Registered Physiotherapist in Nova Scotia

• Experience in geriatrics or long-term care settings

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• Proficient in MS Office software
